

Dining at the Inn
The Black Cock Inn has long had a fine reputation for the variety and quality of the food it serves. We have been keen to build on this and provide a mouth-watering array of dishes. There are always vegetarian dishes on the menu and a good choice of desserts. All the dishes are specially prepared by the team of chefs using the best ingredients, locally sourced where possible, with most of our fresh produce being supplied daily by Melville Tyson, Grocer and High Class Butcher, located across the road from the Black Cock Inn.
Our restaurant is open every day for lunch (12-2) and for dinner in the evening (6-9), with lunch service extended on Sunday until 3pm.
On the lighter side there are filled baguettes and soup available at lunchtime with a traditional roast available on Sundays
Food is served in the bar area or separate dining rooms and although there is plenty of room for diners, it is wise to book for popular times and at weekends. We will be pleased to arrange the dining room to your requirements for special occasions.
Children are welcome.
